If you are growing Astilbes in part sun, 'Peach Blossom' is the one most tolerant of dry conditions. The lacy fern-like foliage is vivid green and works great in a border or in mass planting. Astilbe are considered staples of any shade/woodland garden. They combine well with other moisture loving plants like Brunnera, Ligularia, Lobelia and Hosta.
